The Stages are set – we just need you to help us bring them alive!
Our new community café is open and the outdoor performance stage is almost complete — now we need you to help bring them to life with local stories, passions, and creativity.
We’re inviting residents to share a talk, demonstration, or performance as part of a new community-led series celebrating local voices and talents. Whether it’s a hobby, skill, life story, or piece of local history — if you are passionate about it, we want to hear about it.
No stage experience needed — just enthusiasm.
This is your chance to:
-
Share what you know or love
-
Connect with your community
-
Inspire others with your voice
Events will be relaxed, friendly, and supported by the council team. You choose your format — a solo talk, a casual interview, a skill-share, or even a creative performance.
Suggested Ideas could include:
-
“Passions & Pastimes” – local hobbies, from beekeeping to bookbinding.
-
“My Life, My Journey” – inspiring or reflective life stories.
-
“Skill Share” – practical ‘how to’ sessions like cooking demos, tech tutorials, etc.
-
“Hidden Histories” – local stories and family legacies.
-
“Youth Voice” – talks from local young people on what matters to them.
