General Terms
1.1. These Terms and Conditions apply to all individuals, teams, clubs, or organisations (“the Hirer”) using the football pitch at Stone Recreation Ground on weekends.
1.2. By submitting a booking request or using the pitch, the Hirer agrees to comply with these Terms and Conditions in full.
1.3. Bookings are managed by Stone Parish Council, referred to herein as “the Management”.

Booking Procedures
2.1. All bookings must be made in advance via booking platform.
2.2. All pitches are available from 9:00am – 12:00pm, Saturday and Sunday. The 11v11 seniors pitch is available until 3pm.
2.3. Pitches are available from the first weekend in September through to the last weekend in April.
2.4. Full payment must be received at the time of booking.

Cancellations and Refunds
3.1. The decision as to whether pitches are in a fit state of play rests, ultimately, with the Council. During inclement weather, the pitch fitness can be ascertained by contacting the Grounds Manager, however, if pitches are deemed suitable, the final decision regarding if a match can play remains with the referee.
3.2. No refund will be issued for late cancellations or no-shows.

Use of Facilities
4.1. The pitch must only be used for football.
4.2. The Hirer is responsible for ensuring all participants and spectators behave in a respectful, safe, and lawful manner.
4.3. The Hirer must not sublet or transfer the booking to another party without written approval.
4.4. Changing rooms (if available) and toilet facilities must be used respectfully and left in a clean condition, i.e. no washing of boots in showers, kicking footballs in buildings or leaving litter e.g. drink cans, sweet wrappers etc. No glass bottles or glass in any form must be taken into the changing facilities.

Health and Safety
5.1. The Hirer must conduct a visual inspection of the pitch before use. Any issues must be reported immediately.
5.2. The Management reserves the right to close the pitch at any time for health, safety, or maintenance reasons.
5.3. First aid provision is the responsibility of the Hirer.

Insurance and Liability
6.1. The Hirer is responsible for obtaining appropriate public liability insurance (minimum £5 million cover is recommended).
6.2. The Management accepts no responsibility for personal injury, loss, or damage to property incurred while using the facility.
6.3. Any damage to the pitch or surrounding facilities caused during the hire period must be reported and may result in the Hirer being charged for repair or replacement costs.

Code of Conduct
7.1. No abusive or antisocial behaviour will be tolerated.
7.2. All litter must be removed by the Hirer at the end of the booking.

Termination of Use
8.1. The Management reserves the right to terminate use immediately and/or refuse future bookings if these Terms and Conditions are breached.
8.2. Serious or repeated breaches may result in a ban from future use of the facilities.
