Hundreds of residents came along for the magical parish lights switch on where they witnessed fire-dancers, stilt walkers and a spectacular show.
A festoon-lit marquee was home to a small Christmas market, where local traders set up stalls selling personalised glassware, knitted baby clothes, sweet tombola, hand-made cake stand and ladies clothes and accessories.
