Hours: 15 per week to be worked over 3 days between Monday & Sunday. This role is temporary until December 2024 with a possibility of extending further.  

This role also requires staff to work early morning shifts to ensure the venues are ready for use by the community. 

Salary: £12ph 

Stone Parish Council has two fantastic and frequently used community facilities, Stone Pavilion and The Claire Tiltman Centre. We pride ourselves on delivering the highest standards at these facilities and recognise the importance of creating an exceptional first impression.  

We now need a dedicated cleaner to join our team and help to deliver outstanding presentation of our venues. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a clean and safe environment for both staff and visitors. The successful applicant must be happy to travel between the two facilities, free parking is available at both venues.  

You will provide support as part of a team to … 

  • ensure council venues are efficiently cleaned to a high standard
  • undertake periodic deep cleans of venues as needed
  • make records of any issues or faults found while on duty
  • advise the cleaning supervisor regarding stock of consumables and cleaning supplies
  • undertake training relevant to your role 

You will bring … 

  • experience of commercial cleaning including using cleaning equipment and supplies effectively and safely.
  • the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
