17/11/19HR: TO NOTE RECENT STAFF AND MEMBER TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT ATTENDANCE
Members noted the attendance of training and development since July 2019. Members were pleased to see a high level of activity and uptake of training by staff.
18/11/19HR: TO NOTE THE COMPLETION OF QUARTERLY STAFF 1-2-1’s
Members noted the conclusion of staff quarterly 1-2-1’s and were advised they had been very positive and promotive.
19/11/19HR: To DISCUSS ELIGIBILITY AND RESOLVE RECOMMENDATION TO FINANCE & AUDIT COMMITTEE FOR PERFORMANCE-RELATED PAY INCREASES EFFECTIVE FROM APRIL 2020
Members discussed eligibility for performance related pay increases against the backdrop of the NJC pay claim for 2020-21. Due to the impending general election, no agreement on the proposed scales will be forthcoming until 23rd January. With pressures on the budget from a number of sources, members resolved to reconsider eligibility for performance related pay at the budget meeting in January.
