Stone Town Council is a statutory consultee in the planning process. This means we are invited to review and comment on planning applications affecting the town, but we do not make the final decision. Our role is to consider applications at Town Council meetings, represent local views, and provide observations to the Local Planning Authority (LPA).
The Local Planning Authority for our area is Dartford Borough Council, who is responsible for determining all planning applications, enforcing planning regulations, and maintaining the planning register.
To view or submit planning applications, or to check the progress of an existing application, please visit the Dartford Borough Council Planning Portal.
