Do you know someone who goes above and beyond in our community? We want to celebrate the local heroes who make Stone Parish a better place to live! As part of this year’s Annual Parish Meeting we will be launching the Stone Parish Champion Awards— a new initiative to recognise and celebrate the incredible individuals who go above and beyond to make our community a better place.

We are now inviting nominations for the following award categories:

• Community Champion – for someone who has made a significant positive impact in the parish
• Outstanding Volunteer – for a dedicated individual who selflessly gives their time to help others
• Outstanding Young Person – for a young individual (under 18) making a real difference
• Environment Champion – for someone taking action to protect and improve our local environment

If you know someone deserving of recognition, we’d love to hear from you! Please submit your nominations by Tuesday 22nd April 2025, including a brief description of why you believe your nominee should receive the award.

Nominations can be sent via email to clerk@stoneparishcouncil.com, or by hand to Stone Pavilion.

Award winners will be announced and celebrated at the Annual Parish Meeting, with the awards presented by the Chair of Stone Parish Council.
